We exist to transform the lives of over one million children, helping them to reach their God-given potential through clean drinking water and gospel teaching.
OMC is committed to training, releasing into ministry, and providing resources for the people of Africa. The goal is to create sustainable ministry where the people of a country reach their own children with God’s word and provide clean water to their fellow countrymen.

President, Founder
Co-founders, Pr. Larry and Marsha Roth are living out the vision God gave Larry to bring clean water and the gospel to one million children in sub-saharan Africa. After serving in pastoral ministry for 32 years, God has brought them to Zambia where Larry fulfills the role of Bible teacher and President of OneMillionChildren.
Tom Siachitema
Director
Tom Siachitema is following his passion for The Great Commission and the Zambian people through his partnership with OneMillionChildren as Country Director. His charismatic spirit, management expertise and endless contacts allow him to orchestrate near impossible logistics with great care.
Our Story
In 2006 Pastor Larry Roth, our founder, was returning home from ministering at a leadership conference in Ethiopia. On the flight, God clearly told him to reach one million children in Sub-Saharan Africa with clean water and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through much prayer, and waiting on the Father’s leading, OneMillionChildren was launched.
Pastor Roth identified the need for OMC to focus on 2 areas; children’s physical needs and their spiritual needs. Through teaching the Word of God, many children are reaching their God-given potential.
In Sub-Saharan Africa, 500 children die every day from diarrheal diseases. Most of these lives could be saved by providing clean drinking water. OMC’s team repairs wells in very remote areas, allowing thousands of children access to clean water and happy, healthy lives.
“When the poor and needy search for water and there is none, and their tongues are parched from thirst, then I the Lord will answer them…everyone will see this miracle and understand that it is the Lord, the Holy one of Israel, who did it.” (Isaiah 41:17, 20)
Our Strategy
Our Current Strategy in Zambia:
Hope for Zambia Bible School. Trains Zambians in the word of God and how to minister it.
Hope for Children ministry sites. These are located in the rural areas of the Southern Province. They meet with children weekly to teach them God’s word. They are led by our Bible school graduates. We currently have 95 different sites.
Zambia well repair team. This is a three man team that does all of our well repair.
